Text Services v2

This service has the operations to identify the language of the text to be screened, detect profanity in more than 100 languages, report on suspicious malware and phishing URLs, and match against custom and shared blacklists.

Identify Language

This operation will detect the language of given input content. Returns the ISO 639-3 code for the predominant language comprising the submitted text. Over 110 languages supported.

This method supports raw requests with MIME types listed below:
• text/html
• text/xml
• text/markdown
• text/plain

ISO 639-3 code of the primary language identified in the submitted passage.

Application Status Codes & Descriptions:

3000 OK
• Normalized text (Optional if the Autocorrect request parameter is set to true)
• Original text
• Language
• PII: detected personal identifiable information such as regular or suspected emails, phone or address.
• Location(s) in normalized text of detected term(s)/phrase(s) and the term(s)/phrase(s) that was/were detected.
• Terms: detected profanity contents.
• Detected URLs (Optional if the URLs request parameter is set to true) and their classification as adult, malware, and/or phishing.

Note: Refresh Index must be run before additions and removals are reflected in the response.
